MOTHER GOOSE and Nursery Rhymes

Thirty-two nursery rhymes, some familiar and others seldom heard, have been gathered together and arranged in whimsical fashion, surrounded by Mr. Reed's artistic, colorful woodcuts. The selection, for the most part, is excellent; and the sometimes lanky and square, sometimes bulging and round, figures and animals have an old-fashioned yet fresh quality which is pleasing. A fine gift book, it is more suitable for book store sales than for libraries.
