THE THIRTEENTH BED IN THE BALLROOM

Two murders in the 13th bed of a girls' dormitory in a rooming house -- dissimilar and unconnected except for that fact. The girl in the next bed finds herself under suspicion and does a little detecting with the assistance of the police. The conclusion is guessable -- but the story well sustained, and well told.
