SMALL CHANGES

In these short stories Mr. Clement relies more on heavy technological terminology than human dimension for impact. The result is rather tedious whether the characters are blinded by ionized particles somewhere on the moon; escaping from the law only to be confronted by an unstable sun; riding a comet past the perihelion of old Sol; establishing a life-style on a gravity free planet or having their genes changed after a disfiguring accident . . . . Small change.
