Debbie's teen aged world runs smoothly enough until she loses her boyfriend Bucky to Joan, her stepsister, who has just joined the family. Although Debbie's kindly stepfather wants Debbie to choose a journalistic career, Debbie's heart is set on designing. Debbie's romantic and vocational problems are tidily resolved in a rather uninteresting denouement which holds no suspense and little interest. Characterization is skeletal.
