A CASE OF NEED

This, well not highminded but highpowered account does a work up of the legal and moral aspects of abortion without rubber gloves, namely following the death of the daughter of a prominent Boston family. Under arrest is one Art Lee, a medical maverick known to have justified and performed abortions, while kept under wraps is everything which involves Karen Randall. . . a Smith girl who seems to have been living off campus, on drugs, and with black and white studs. Acting on behalf of Lee is his friend John Barry, a pathologist, and he suspects the findings of the autopsy--Karen had not been pregnant but. . . . Not for the lavender and Lavoris readership of Dr. Kildare, but in its drastic fashion quite, quite readable.
