Mr. Lange tells a story which-you-may-have-read-before-although-you-can't-exactly-remember-when with such concentrated efficiency that it won't matter. Simply, seven men, equipped with machine guns and a thousand dollars, are to steal one yellow and one black can of ""insecticide"" which a man called Wright, an extremist-rightist, is going to release to wipe out one million people plus a political party. John Graves has him under surveillance -- almost not close enough -- since every problem is compounded with a double threat. . . . A high priority-security situation which reads faster than you can think. (Another binary -- Lange is Michael Crichton.)
