GETTING STRAIGHT

Harry was a ""Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude certified bright guy of twenty-eight."" He was also a smart schnook. Wanting to really teach the subject, not the children. In love with the subject, fascinated by the English language, but lost... lost in the bulwark of Educational Graduate School programmed B.S. Mr. Kolb is one of the happiest finds of the year. He has a Hellerish eye and sense of humor running from droll to black. He and his character are also terribly cheeky: ""President Johnson is the living proof that an inability to speak English is no obstacle to success."" And as we follow Harry, industriously ripping the Ivy off the hallowed halls of Academia right up to the point where he becomes the ultimate in deliberate flunk-out, we can laugh along. There is truth in madness and even the most staid professor will smile, then reflect. It will be Getting Straight A's from the college crowd.
