A projection into an imaginary future (purely imaginative we hope) in which a presumably pro-Fascist Coalition Government is in the saddle. The story follows the attempt of an idealist and fanatic to seize certain key radio stations in the hopes of setting up a new government which will fight for freedom. Then comes failure -- arrest -- trial -- years of oppression -- and finally retribution, as Gifford's idea bears fruit and a new government comes into being. Intelligent, spare handling, but the stunt formula in this instance makes for an indirect, inconsecutive presentation which is difficult to follow and not necessarily effective. The story is told through flashbacks and projections as thirty or more people take their turns in recording it. And in the final analysis, one questions the validity of the idea at this moment.
