WINTERBOUND

Good story of a young family ""winterbound"" in the farmhouse they had taken in Connecticut for a year while the limited budget found itself again. One feels that some of the adventures and misadventures have roots in personal experience, for they ring very true. There's a wide appeal to varied interests -- art, interior decoration, gardening, -- in the development of the different characters. And there's enough of adventure to give the story plenty of zip.
