Miss Sharp says that this is the ""very last tale"" of Bernard and Miss Bianca and the Mouse Prisoners Aid Society (honor bright?) although Miss Bianca's whiskers are twitching as vigorously as ever as she goes to the rescue of the six year-old bridesmaid-sister who disappears just before the wedding of the Ambassador's orphaned niece. Dauntlessly and distastefully they go down the Main Drain via a manhole, to search for little Susan, but for the most part this is far less whiffy -- just attar of roses and cheddar for the fastidious Miss Bianca whose tail squiggles in most of the Erik Bleguad illustrations.
