THE GRAY-NOSED KITTEN

Thin-spun story of the fourth kitten that nobody wanted, and of how he ran away and found a home for himself. But he had plenty of adventures finding it and the climax of the story comes when he climbs a tree and can't get down and the whole community gathers to offer advice and help. The Mayor and the Fire Department combine and the gray-nosed kitten comes down. The pictures by Marie Nichols are very uneven in quality. She's much better on her kittens than her humans.
