FAMILY STORY

A most readable and appealing presentation of Christian truth and doctrine as it is lived out and exemplified in the everyday affairs of the human family, from birth, through the anxieties of youth, the problems of married life, standards of success, etc. There emerges from the book a clear picture of the joy of Christian living, -- what it means for the average man or woman who is sometimes put off by such technical terms as Atonement, Redemption, Salvation, Incarnation, but who are searching for an adequate basis for life, and are currently standing somewhere between curiosity and agnosticism. The Rt. Rev. Philip F. McNairy is now the Suffragan Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota, but much of the material in this book comes from a series of radio addresses given when he was Dean of St. Paul's Cathedral in Buffalo. This is a good book for family use and the Church library.
