Crystal is a new girl no longer and now best friend Susan invites her to sleep over. ""Now remember,"" says mother, ""be nice and always let Crystal choose first because she's your guest""--but after agreeing, with secret but growing discontent, to Crystal's choice of beds, games, TV shows, and snacks, Susan is overjoyed to learn that Crystal too thinks first dibs is more fun than guest's choice. At least it's a switch from the usual turnabout ending (I get to choose when I'm her guest), and Frascino's bouncy little girls add a touch of personality to the ordinary goings-on.
