WHO WILL COMFORT TOFFLE?

MayBe the story of how nobody or nothing comforts Toffle until he sets out to comfort Miffle will sound less like piffle to children who already know Hemulen and the Groke, the Fillyjonks and Whompses, Mymble and Snufkin and the other Moomins. Otherwise it's a long, strained, preachy rhyme (""But who will comfort Toffle thus: `It's useless feeling blue,/ What is the good of shells and stones unless you show them too!'"") peopled with curiosities who crowd many of the illustrations too.
