An attractive book with very interesting illustrations by Leonard Weisgard, whose simple theme is nicely executed. A rain drop and another rain drop make a puddle which goes into a pond, which spills over into a lake that eventually flows into the sea. A severe young critic thought it ""nice"" but wished it had some children, or even people, in it.
