Little ones develop their alphabet skills.
Starting school can be a big, scary deal, so why not send little readers in to class with a firm grip on the alphabet to calm their nerves? This kit contains 52 playing cards: 26 depict the lowercase letters of the alphabet, and the other 26 feature DK’s trademark photos on white space and a label beneath. The kit also includes an ABC board book and a leaflet detailing different games parents can play using the cards. The games include Alphabet Bingo, I Spy, and others that develop a little one’s ability to match sounds to letters and vice versa. The cards use clear, simple illustrations and a large font. This is a kit best suited for children who can sing the alphabet song and identify a few letters here and there and are looking for the next step to mastering the alphabet.
A basic but effective tool for expanding young readers’ relationships with the alphabet.
