A PALM FOR MRS. POLLIFAX

That alter ego of hearthside matrons takes care of espionage, murder and sinister Arabs holding countrymen as hostages (a coup back home) in a luxury convalescent hotel in Switzerland. Mrs. Pollifax's mission is to find a cache of plutonium, which she does of course, but her contact is murdered, and when she becomes curious about a frightened Arab boy, enemies tighten the net. Before the closing chase, capture and rescue, the polyvalent Pollifax recruits a likable young jewel thief to the cause of justice, truth and the American way.
