THE AMAZING MRS. POLLIFAX

Mrs. Pollifax is as amazing in this as she was unexpected (The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax, 1966) before. The grooviest grandma ever to turn C.I.A. agent, Mrs. Pollifax is now assigned to spring a double agent, one Magda Ferenci-Sabo, from Istanbul. As usual, Mrs. Pollifax manages to pick up a number of unlikely helpers along the way—Colin, failed drop-out from a Famous family: Sandor, ruffian on the run; an interesting band of gypsies; and an idealistic Turkish student. Among other things, Mrs. Pollifax makes a fast exit via helicopter—as very amateur pilot.
