MEXICO

An Englishman and a Conservative spends two months in Mexico and presents a study of conditions in that country. He compares the attitude of the U. S. to the English attitude towards the Irish question in the 19th century. He traces the causes of Mexico's decay in legislation on international relations, labor, etc. He enjoys Mexico superficially, but goes deeper than most tourists and sees little in existing economic conditions that he can praise. A thoughtful study of material at hand.
