Miss Stein includes in this book the material for the United States lectures. We are assured by the publishers (who can produce nothing by way of evidence at the time of this writing) that it will be the most beautiful book Random House has ever published, which is saying a lot. But we are also assured that it is just as well there is nothing to read, as we couldn't understand it anyhow. So, with that bit of information to hand on to your Gertrude Stein satellites (and she has a "snob appeal" to the so-called intelligentsia these days), we sign off.
