SOLITA

This is for the upper brackets of this 6 -- 9 group of readers. The story of an eight year old Mexican child, of the uncle and aunt who came to take her away from the ranch house where she had been raised, and of the adventures with the bandits which interrupted their plans for going to California. Grace Moon has established a reputation for this type of story, and though there is no particular distinction to this one, it is good routine story-adventure against a Mexican background.
