CAPTIVE UNIVERSE

Chimal is an Aztec youth trapped in a valley community that has been sealed off from the outside world. It's a life of ritual blood-letting and fear dominated by the hellish goddess Coaticue who prowls the valley after dark waiting for victims. Then Chimal escapes into a strange landscape of corridors, monkish ""Watchers,"" a sun that rolls on a track and a weird legacy left by ""The Grand Designer."" Harrison's Universe is somewhat overcrowded but it will still keep an audience captive.
