After three years of servitude under a greedy half-human/half-jinn master, jinni slave Nalia Aisouri’Taifyeh is free—almost.

For his third and final wish, Malek Alzahabi has laid upon Nalia the obligation to lead him to the location of Solomon’s sigil, which allows its wearer to rule every jinni on Earth. Once she fulfills this wish, Nalia will be free from Malek’s cruel hand. Unfortunately, Nalia’s mission isn’t going to be as easy as evanescing across a field during an innocent game of hado. She must also honor her vow to help Raif Djan’Urbi, her soul mate and leader of the Arjinnan revolution, obtain the ring. Thankfully, Raif’s motives aren’t as diabolically selfish as Malek’s: the ring is the key to Arjinna’s survival, and with it, Raif can defeat the evil Ifrit tyrant. The search for the ring’s location takes Nalia and company through the bustling, winding streets of Marrakech and the vastness of the Sahara. Peppered with Arabic and Arijnnan vocabulary, enriched with references to Islamic tradition and mythology, and supported by the author’s lush, tangible worldbuilding, the book transports readers into the battle for Arjinna’s freedom. Readers will have no problem catching up from Exquisite Captive (2014): back story is deftly woven into the current narrative.

Here’s hoping the third book arrives faster than a jinni can manifest a glass of spiced Arjinnan wine.
