HELLO, MRS. PIGGLE-WIGGLE

These further stories of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and her various "cures" take the same tack as Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Farm in their moderately funny to hilarious illustrations of the consequences of being a show-off, crybaby, a bully, a whisperer and a slowpoke. Sometimes it takes an object lesson, sometimes a disappearing act. But at all times the conversation sparkles with the kind of adult joking children love to mimic and with humorous comments on the more trying times of childhood. ilary (of Eloise) Knight's drawings add a benevolent malevolence.
