THE CRUSADE OF FATIMA

This little book, translated from the Portuguese, describes the appearances of the Virgin Mary to four peasant children near the village of Fatima in Portugal and of the resulting development of a crusade for the veneration of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The story conforms to the pattern of the vision at Lourdes so well-known to the general public through the Song of Bernadette. It is a book which will be of interest only to the faithful and pious Catholic. A longer book on this topic of recent publication (May 1947) is Our Lady of Fatima by W. T. Walsh (Macmillan) was reviewed on P.229 and is recommended as of wider interest than this small volume.
