MR. ADAM

A sophisticated entire of a world after an atomic plant explosion leaves the male population sterile, all except meek Mr. Adam who becomes the butt of ran's reproductive desire and the scapegoat of Washington politics. The Navy wants Mr. Adam; the Army wants Mr. Adam; Russia wants Mr. Adam; but, at first docile and submissive, Mr. Adam rebels. And this is the story of a flashy New York reporter who befriends and steers him through a siege of Army protection, a shapely Hollywood menace, artificial insemination preparations, a Congressional battle with a lady representative, etc. Mr. Adam is handed over to the doctors to start refertilisation of the race, but he is lured into the laboratory of the atom scientist for experimental purposes. He betrays them all by sterilising himself, for a not-so-tragic end when the guardian reporter finds himself an expectant father after his wife had been surreptitiously administering a new formula in his food. Contemporary comedy which carries beyond idea novelty, this will entertain a selected, superior audience.
