This isn't quite up to par, for this time Nero Wolfe's perceptions are a bit dimmed by the rearing up of a ghost in the family cupboard. But Balkan spy rings, thievery, murder and pretty good melodrama play ducks and drakes with his program of beer and orchids. And Nero Wolfe is always good entertainment.
