THE MURDER LEAGUE

The Mystery Writers of America have discovered that crime does pay but even they may be surprised at the take when three aging fictional crime chroniclers decide that even if their writing styles are out of date, their methods can still be put to contemporary use. They form The Murder League, and proceed to neatly bump off their clients' undesirables. Ten victims later they run into a sticky wicket when an innocent man is accused. A more or less confession and zany trial tactics save out antiquated anti-heroes. Refreshingly immoral.
