KNIGHT'S FEE

Randal, the dog-boy, through the whim of a jester becomes companion to a young English noble. As companion and later squire to the gentle master, he becomes initiated into the ways of knighthood and is determined to serve well in the fierce combats which shake Normandy and England in the years following the conquest.
