Oh dear, Wilfred Bronson has done some such nice nature books and this is such a disappointment, -- a poorly organised, loose text, ill-assorted mass of information without the scientific approach to arrangement -- a subject which might have afforded opportunity for an attractive and interesting book. The author's pictures on every page are some of them excellent, some -- in comic strip effect -- uneven, restless, cluttered looking, while the blocks of text add to an effect of crowding. Here's a man who knows what can and should be done and owes it to his market to sustain a higher level of intelligent, scientific presentation.
