DEAD MAN'S GIFT

This is a good one- an unusual set-up, in which a river flood imprisons an oddly assorted group of heirs in the house of a dead man, a house occupied by the sister and nephew who expected to inherit the considerable estate. One of the heirs is accompanied by a woman detective, who gets busy when a succession of ""accidents"" point to murder stalking the household. There's a new twist to the solution- and the build up has all the hair-raising ingredients one could ask for.
