Atria Books and Grand Central Publishing will release five new novels by Colleen Hoover over the next five years, the publishers announced in a news release.

Hoover, who self-published her first book in 2012 while she was a social worker, has recently become a publishing phenomenon. While her early books were bestsellers, she became hugely popular in 2021 after TikTok users discovered her 2016 novel, It Ends With Us.

The Texas-based novelist has sold more than 20 million books and is still the toast of TikTok, with the #ColleenHoover hashtag drawing more than 2.4 billion views on the video sharing service. Her most recent book, It Begins With Us, is slated for publication by Atria next week.

Grand Central will publish three new suspense novels by Hoover, including one that was previously announced; they’re scheduled to come out in 2023, 2025, and 2027. Meanwhile, Atria will release two romance novels by the author, which will be published in 2024 and 2026.

Atria will also release three books that Hoover previously self-published: Finding Perfect, Maybe Now, and Heart Bones.

“Colleen Hoover and her books are a true cultural phenomenon, and we are overjoyed to have a long future together at Atria,” said Libby McGuire, Atria Publishing Group’s senior vice president and publisher. “We continue to find new readers for her unparalleled talent, and these new books will be eagerly anticipated by millions.”
