Bad Bunny has hopped into the upcoming film adaptation Charlie Huston’s Caught Stealing, Deadline reports.

Huston’s novel, published in 2004 by Ballantine, follows bartender Hank Thompson, who finds himself being chased by both police officers and criminals who are after a key stored in the blanket of a cat he has agreed to watch. A critic for Kirkus called the book an “impressive debut, though not for the squeamish.”

Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican rapper known for his singles “I Like It,” “Me Porto Bonito,” and “Un x100to,” has acted in the films F9, Bullet Train, and Cassandro. He joins a cast that includes Austin Butler (Elvis, Dune: Part Two), Zoë Kravitz (Big Little Lies, High Fidelity), Matt Smith (Doctor Who, The Crown), Liev Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate, Spotlight), and Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk, Shirley).

The film adaptation is written by Huston, who previously penned scripts for the series Powers and Gotham, and is directed by Darren Aronofsky, known for movies including Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, and The Whale.

Huston’s 2009 novel The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death, was adapted as a television movie, All Signs of Death, starring Ben Whishaw and Mahershala Ali.
