The film adaptation of Edward Kelsey Moore’s The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat has found its leading cast members, Deadline reports.

Uzo Aduba, Aunjanue Ellis, and Sanaa Lathan will star in the film. All three actors have had prominent roles in recent years: Emmy-winning Aduba (Orange Is the New Black) is a voice actor in the Disney film Lightyear, while Ellis earned an Oscar nomination for King Richard, and Lathan won praise for her guest supporting role on the series Succession.

Moore’s novel, published in 2013 by Knopf, tells the story of three Indiana friends who gather to gossip and commiserate at a local restaurant. A critic for Kirkus called the book “a novel of strong women, evocative memories, and deep friendship.”

The Searchlight Pictures film adaptation is being directed by Tina Mabry (Pose) and written by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees).

Aduba shared the news of her casting on Instagram, writing, “I am so excited for this new project. Working alongside @sanaalathan, @aunjanue_ellis447, and @tinamabry is such a privilege and honor. I’m beyond thrilled to bring this book to life. A story for the whole family. So grab your Sunday’s best and meet us at Earl’s All-you-can-eat.”

Mabry also took to social media to spread the word, tweeting, simply, “Grateful.”
