Former first lady Melania Trump will tell the story of her life in a new memoir, the Associated Press reports.

Skyhorse will publish Melania in the fall. Trump’s office says the book is “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”

Trump was born in Slovenia in 1970, when the country was still part of the former Yugoslavia. She studied design before becoming a model, moving to the U.S. in the 1990s. She met Donald Trump in 1998; the two married in 2005. The following year, the couple’s son, Barron Trump, was born.

Melania Trump served as first lady from 2017 to 2021, mostly keeping a low profile throughout her husband’s presidency. She was widely mocked for her 2018 “Be Best” anti-bullying initiative; critics noted that Donald Trump frequently engaged in bullying behavior. She has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since leaving the White House in 2021, although she did make an appearance on the last night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee earlier this month.

The publisher of her memoir, Skyhorse, frequently publishes books by controversial figures, including Woody Allen, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Alan Dershowitz. Late last year, Skyhorse announced it was buying Regnery, the right-wing publisher whose roster includes Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.

A webpage for the memoir on Melania Trump’s website says the book “includes stories and images never before shared with the public.” It is being sold in three editions, including two that are signed by the author.

There is no release date set for Melania.
