Rebecca Ross is returning to the world of her popular Letters of Enchantment duology with a fantasy novel coming later this year.
Saturday Books will publish Ross’ Wild Reverence in the fall. The novel will follow Matilda, a young goddess who is destined to connect with Vincent, a mortal man who asked for her help 10 years prior. “There may be a chance for Matilda to rewrite the blood-soaked ways of the gods, but at immense sacrifice,” the publisher says. “She will have to face something she fears even more than losing her magic: to be vulnerable, and to allow herself to finally be loved.”
The novel is set in the same world as Ross’ novels Divine Rivals and Ruthless Vows, both big hits in the BookTok community on TikTok. Her other books include The Queen’s Rising, Sisters of Sword & Song, Dreams Lie Beneath, and A River Enchanted.
Ross announced the new book on Good Morning America after teasing it Monday on Instagram, in a video in which she said, “I cannot wait. I’ve been holding this news in for so long, and I am so excited to finally be able to talk about this book.”
Wild Reverence is slated for publication on Sept. 2.
