Oprah Winfrey’s latest selection for her popular book club is From Here to the Great Unknown, the memoir by the late singer Lisa Marie Presley that was finished by her daughter, actor Riley Keough.

In the book, Presley writes about her childhood as the daughter of music legend Elvis Presley; her marriages, including one to pop star Michael Jackson; and her struggle with drug addiction. On Instagram, Winfrey praised the book as “a raw and unforgettable story of fame, addiction, grief, and family.”

Winfrey announced the book’s selection on CBS Mornings, where she appeared with Keough. Asked what it was like going through audiotapes of her mother telling stories about her life, Keough said, “The first time that I played the tapes was incredibly emotional. And then once I was sort of used to it…it was a wild, wild ride of emotions.”

Keough talked about learning her book had been selected for Winfrey’s club while she was at a doctor’s appointment.

“My phone’s ringing, and it’s a number I don’t know,” she said. “I just had a feeling that I should pick it up. And I pick the phone up and I just hear, ‘Riiiiiley!...It’s Oprah!’ And I went, ‘Hi, Oprah!’ And I think my doctor was like, jaw on the floor.”
