Sean Hannity, the controversial Fox News commentator and confidant of President Trump, reportedly has a book deal.
Citing anonymous sources, CNN reports that Hannity’s next book will be published by Simon Schuster imprint Threshold Editions, the home of conservative authors like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Laura Ingraham. Threshold also published Trump’s latest book, Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again.
CNN’s sources say that Hannity will be paid between $5 million and $10 million for the book, the subject and title of which are unknown at this point.
Hannity was “coy” about the reported book deal when asked, CNN reports, but a spokesperson for Fox News denied that any deal had been signed. “For years, there has been widespread publisher interest in Sean Hannity writing another book, but only he knows what his plans are at this time,” the spokesperson said. “Hannity has NOT inked any book deal. While he has written three number one best-selling books, his last work was written in 2010."
That book, titled Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda, was a New York Times bestseller, as were his previous two, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism and Deliver Us From Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism.
